Romana Retiwala is the Director of Recruitment, bringing over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector where she has dedicated her career to creating people-centered programs that strengthen communities and transform lives. She began her career as a Case Manager, delivering trauma-informed services, safety planning, and employment and education support to individuals navigating crisis. That foundation in direct service shaped her deep commitment to meeting people where they are,  a value she has carried into every leadership role since. Over the course of her career, Romana advanced into supervisory and program leadership roles, guiding teams of case managers and career coaches in serving justice-involved, at-risk, and underserved populations. Her program expertise spans workforce development, life skills training, housing support, and long-term case management, all with a focus on helping clients achieve lasting stability and self-sufficiency. Beyond direct program work, Romana has led several marketing initiatives and the planning of small- to large-scale organizational events. She brings that same intentionality and organizational skill to her work in recruitment, where she is committed to building teams that reflect the communities they serve.- Romana Retiwala
